From Marrakech: Atlas Mountains Talamrout Summit day hike & Trek

Radouane is an experienced mountain guide，with his guide we see the different flowers in the spring time，they are amazing！We spent a wonderful day in the beautiful nature and enjoyed the Imalil Valley. The day was worthwhile. I recommend this excellent and great value hike.

Thank you Radouane for a truly memorable day. This was the highlight of our time in Morocco.

I did a day hike with Radouane at Talamrout peak in mid-March. I was picked up promptly at 08:30 by a driver at the accommodation in Marrakech. The car was comfortable and the driver drove considerately. On the way, the driver drew my attention to a beautiful viewpoint or an argan oil production. We only stopped where I wanted. In Imlil, Radouane welcomed me warmly with a cup of tea. After that we started. The landscape we walked through was varied. We first hiked through the village, then past a river, through pine forests to a rocky landscape. Radouane was paying close attention to me the whole time. We walked slowly at my pace. At the end on the mountain you also had to climb at times. In the difficult parts, Radouane told me exactly where to put my peet or how to hold on. Or he took my backpack from me for a short time so that I could climb better. No one should hike up this mountain alone. I can only recommend booking Radouane as a guide. If you feel unsure about climbing, you can stop a little before the summit. From there you also have a beautiful view. The hiking route was not overcrowded with tourists. Radouane and I talked a lot about the country, the culture and the differences to my experiences in Germany. That was very interesting. On the way there and back we stopped at a small hut and had tea and lunch. I also liked the food. I had a guilty conscience because a driver had to drive the route between Imlil and Marrakech 4 times just for me. I would have found it better if the guides from Imlil organized themselves to pick up and drive the guests together. However, Radouane told me that many guests expect private transport and therefore no shared trips are organized.
