This experience allows you to spend a day cycling, reaching the WWF Wildlife Oasis to enjoy an immersion in nature, a few kilometers from Matera. Furthermore, the beauty of the Crypt of Original Sin will leave you breathless. Not far away, at the farmhouse near the crypt, we can refresh ourselves with a little wine and some tarallini made with 0 km ingredients. We will make the return with a minivan, which will take you back to the city.

A must try for anyone willing to find something different to try out in the historic city of Matera! Thanks to the help of Adriano and all the team at Ferula Bikes, my girlfriend and I managed to book 2 fantastic e-bikes which took us on a lovely trip to Matera lake and the famous Crypt where we could enjoy beautiful affreschi, the very first of their kind in South Italy. The team guided us in choosing an appropriate route and provided a reliable source from where we could follow a scenic route all the way down to the lake and back up in a loop. All were SUPER helpful, friendly, reliable and most of all genuine and kind in their ways. I cannot recommend them enough. I look forward to visit again and explore another beautiful route using their bikes in Matera.

The reception was the worst we’ve ever seen in more than 25 years of travel in numerous countries; the meals were good , the service staff was excellent,the fridge is Only stocked with 2 beer a day if you want more they charge for all room service.wifi is not included in room ,there are bikes to ride but can only ride with a tour guid, once we checked out the the resort was off limits to us we could only use the restroom until our shuttle showed up this was the first time that we have ever bin treated like that. There’s lots of better resorts don’t waste your hard earned money
