    In our Iao Valley, Botanical Garden and Lavender Farm you’ll enjoy three spectacular places on Maui in just one day. Start with the famous Iao Valley recognized as a very special place for both its spiritual value and spectacular scenery followed by the Kepaniwai Park and Heritage Gardens, known for its unique and beautiful park with various ethnic groups of Hawaii by displaying a building for each one.

  • Kula Botanical Garden, Kula, Hawaii, United States
    Our next stop is at the Kula Botanical Garden located on the slopes of Haleakala, encompassing 8 acres of colorful and unique plants, amazing rock formations, a covered bridge, waterfalls, koi pond, aviary and new attractions including the carved tiki exhibit. The garden has hundreds of varieties of plants for you to enjoy and photograph. Plants are labeled with their botanical name, common name, and country of origin. Included in the garden is a collection of native Hawaiian plants. You might especially enjoy the Jackson Chameleon exhibit, native Nene geese, and Aviary. Kula Botanical Garden also features a gift shop with made-in-Hawaii items and items of botanical interest. They also offer snacks for sale, restrooms, and a comfortable deck with a beautiful view. Enjoy your picnic style lunch in this spectacular outdoor setting with the most amazing views.

    Our last but not least stop is the Lavender farm, where you go on a self-guided walking tour at your own pace. This place offers stunning scenery, panoramic out-of-this-world landscapes, birds-eye views of the Maui central valley. You will learn about the flora and fauna that exist nowhere else in the world.

Just recently took this amazing excursion and boy was this a great fun. First we went to this amazing place called Iao Valley and walk around beautiful Taro gardens. Then we walked upstairs to check out the needle lookout. The views were spectacular. Second stop was at the Ocean vodka farm where we tasted locally made spirits. We also bought their famous coconut rum to take home with us. Third and my absolutely favorite place was the lavender farm. We walk through their lavender gardens, took photos and enjoyed the views from high elevation. The lunch the tour company provided were yummy homemade sandwiches served with chips, Hawaiian non-alcoholic drinks and water. We couldn’t spend our special day any better way!

Enjoyed our visit to Ocean Vodka! Stunning vistas, informative guide, interesting tastings (never liked Gin but purchased their organic herbal gin cause it was so unique!). Glad we can purchase their vodka locally in its unique bottle. Highly recommend.
