We pride ourselves in sharing the Hawaiian culture, history, & stories about Hawaii & what its like to live life here in the islands, while treating you like the VIP that you are! Our family history goes back 150 years & they still live in a little community out on the Road to Hana. While on tour we'll stop by our family's fruit stand that has been operating for 40 yrs & is the home of "the original banana bread," as well as have a fresh hot lunch in Hana.

We will travel up Haleakala Highway and cruise through the towns of Pukalani -"Hole to Heaven," Kula - "Open Country," Keokea - "The Sound of White Caps," Kipahulu - "Fetch From Exhausted Gardens," Ulupalakua - "Breadfruit Ripened on the Back" and hear the stories and history of this side of Maui.

    Weather permitting we will swim at this state park in the fresh water pond and check out the waterfalls. This is our last restroom spot before heading out under the canopy of trees on the Road "from" Hana.

We were debating on driving the road, or being driven. We defiantly made the right choice. Not only did our experienced driver handle that road with ease, we went up the back way. So we literally started off going in the direction that is closed to most. We saw more and did more than would have been possible if we drove. We also were going in opposite direct of traffic all day. Our driver was extremely knowledgeable about Maui History, and the road. He talked the entire trip about the History of Maui. They brought us lunch, snacks, water it was a great experience!

Just wanted to say a few quick words regarding our tour with Hawaiian Style Tours. We had a group of 10 people and chartered one of the vehicles for a private Road to Hana tour. Doug was absolutely fabulous!! We had a couple of unusual requests that other tour operators had told us they couldn't (or wouldn't) do. Doug was more than happy to do everything he could to help us. He succeeded brilliantly!!! Can't say enough good things about him and his company!! Fabulous people to work with!! Book with these people...you won't be sorry!!

The road to Hana was excellent! Our tour guide Everett was Fantastic, we couldn't have had a better guide!
