This excursion is designed for people who have never tried diving to get a feel for it. It consists of an in depth theory lesson, the practice of some shallow water skills, and then an open water dive. No prior dive experience is necessary. If you do enjoy it as much as we hope you will, you can use your dive and your skills towards the PADI Open Water certification.  You must complete a medical questionnaire (we will provide) prior to your excursion and have the ability to swim.  Previous experience snorkeling is recommended.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Michael was fantastic. I've seen many more fish on other dives but he made it an enjoyable experience. It was my friends first dive and he was an exceptional teacher!

Realize Good basic dive. Mike was an amazing guide. Very fun and informative. Got to see lots of fish and little critters. They included all the underwater pictures which was really cool. If anyone is second-guessing, just do it. This was fun!

Mike is a great instructor - patient and through. I was a bit anxious so he stayed close and helped me every step of the way. I’m 72 and had a fantastic time!
