The Bois Chéri offers a great panoramic view of the south of the island. Nowadays Bois Chéri produces a new range of flavored teas, green teas and herbal teas. You may taste them during your visit.

    Since 2003, this agricultural rum has been produced by the Saint-Aubin distillery, which until then had been growing sugar cane in the south of the island since 1819. Definitely the tea and rum tasting. Highly recommended. Arun was a brilliant guide, gave plenty of information regarding Mauritius culture and history.

Very interesting, you can learn about the island’s history and its people. The driver was very nice and he gives you enough time to enjoy every place. I would ask next time to don’t stop at Vacoas, it’s not very interesting and I would rather stay longer in Grand Bassin or the tea factory.
