ROATAN, HN - Join us for a dose of adventure, a family-friendly Mayan Jungle ATV Adventure. An optional visit to Victor's Monkey & Sloth Sanctuary is included with this tour or you are free to relax under the tropical trees, visit our gardens or souvenir shop, use our free onsite Wi-Fi or enjoy a soda or Honduran snack. If you choose to visit Victor's Monkey & Sloth Sanctuary, you will see monkeys, sloths & native island wildlife, such as Capuchin monkeys, scarlet macaws, toucans, parrots, island deer, katamundi, howler monkeys, & more. Afterwards, spend several hours at a Beach Resort on Roatan's most beautiful white sand beach - West Bay Beach. [Optional Animal Interactions: feeding/touching of animals is conducted under supervision of trained officials, contact between the animals & guests is initiated by the animals themselves they have the freedom to disengage at their own will] ATV for ages 12+ ONLY, Those under Age 12 may participate in all other activities at a reduced rate.

For guests staying on the island, we will pick you up and return you to your lodging accommodations. Be sure to provide us with the NAME and LOCATION (or Airbnb or VRBO listing website address) of where you're staying!

Roatan has two Cruise Ship Terminals -- Please check below for meeting location for your arrival dock below:

1) Port of Roatan Cruise Terminal (NCL, RCI, MSC, etc.): As you exit your ship, Pass the Shopping Plaza stores. Take a right at the restrooms past the shops and wrap-around building to the Independent Tours booths. Look for the Victor Bodden Tours Kiosk -- You'll see our VICTOR BODDEN TOURS signs and uniformed employees at Kiosk #1 at the port's Independent Tours area. One of our representatives will greet you at the kiosk, locate your name on our list and introduce you to your guide for the day.

2) Mahogany Bay Cruise Center (Carnival, Princess, AIDA, Costa, Holland American, P&O, etc): As you exit your ship, customers on Local Independent Tours will be required by Carnival Corporation to exit their dock area through the gates and walk over the hill to the main road. Once outside the gates and over the hill, look for our representatives holding VICTOR BODDEN signs. One of our representatives will greet you, locate your name on our list and introduce you to your guide for the day. At the end of your tour day, we ARE able to drop you off to the entrance of the dock...so you will only have to do this long walk one-way, when you first arrive.
a. Once you are outside the cruise compound, look for the VICTOR BODDEN TOURS signs and shirts!!
b. The Port Manager of the Mahogany Bay Cruise Center has negotiated with the on-site Taxi Association to provide transportation, if required, to the Independent Tours meeting area. Please see the Taxi Dispatcher (in the Green Mahogany Bay shirt) to arrange for your group to utilize this service -- tell them that you need the shuttle service to Victor Bodden Tours on the other side of the hill. Or, if you'd rather, you can still walk over the hill (approximately 350 yards) to the designated area.

  • Our Sanctuary Animals DO NOT perform demeaning tricks or other unnatural behaviours in front of the general public, and are NOT featured as part of a live circus or stage entertainment act in a demeaning manner
  • Our tours depart our assembly area at your port one hour after your ship's arrival at the dock. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure to check-in. Guests not arriving in-time will not be able to tour and tour fees will not be refunded.
  • At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time. Our tours depart our assembly area at your port one hour after your ship's arrival at the dock.
  • Victor's Monkey & Sloth Sanctuary is a licensed zoological park by the Honduran Governmentmdedicated to the preservation of endangered species native to the mainland of Honduras.
  • For our Optional Animal Interactions: any feeding or touching of the animals is conducted under the supervision of trained officials, any physical contact between the animals and the guests is initiated by the animals themselves and the animals have the freedom to disengage from that contact at their own will.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Hi, we loved all three major places that we were able to go to, including the animal sanctuary, West Bay, Beach, and the dolphin encounter. Our custom paid private tour was a great driver, but honestly lacking in the guide realm. he started off by telling us how worried he was about getting a bad review because of a previous customer. We are assured him that we did not have those intentions, but we’re happy to visit his island. He kept on bringing that up throughout our entire visit, which was frustrating because it became more about him and less about us enjoying the island. He complained for me, asking him to stay with us on West Bay, and to keep an eye on our items while we were swimming. Complained he had no water and was very hot which could’ve been the case of course since it’s warm there, but has no business issuing any complaints as our private tour guide. He wanted to please us, but the negative attitude and worry or just overwhelming during our entire car ride. He left us for a dolphin encounter, which we understood, but was not there prior to us getting out and so we had to wait around for him. We did stop at a lovely place to get souvenirs which I appreciate it, but he did not Bring us to the cameo factory because there were cameos for sale at the local artisan shop. I would have preferred an actual tour guide for our private tour that we booked with you. His accent was also so thick that it was hard to understand anything that he said when he did bring up certain facts about the island which were a few. He was not a good tour guide, more of a driver that complained and worried. I believe he has a kind heart, but I do not believe he should be a tour guide. A driver, yes. He was a great driver. Your island is amazing, and I appreciated the check in process being seamless with you personally. If we came again, I would book with you, but make a very specific request for the kind of private tour guide we were issued. Your activities made up for the bad tour guide. And we still enjoyed our time on the island.

I can't say enough about our driver Denry! He was absolutely awesome and very very accommodating with 11 of us in his van. He gave us lots of information that made our day with him so simple! We loved it! GREAT JOB DENRY!!!! I definitely recommend!!

Had the most amazing time and Roatan became the highlight of our trip. Our tour guide Denry was phenomenal and even though we didn't do a customized trip, he went out of the way to accommodate us in a way that made it feel personal and enjoyable. We did ATVs, Monkey/Sloth Tour (that came with extra animal sighting) and a West Bay beach. I would highly recommend. I work in the hospitality industry and Victor Bodden Tours didn't miss a beat when it came to my expectations. 10/10
