The wineries we visited (four) were all varied -- each emphasizing their own approach/styles. We went on the Barossa Valley tour the day before, and also enjoyed that. But the combination of the two is ideal. I would also recommend Barossa and then McLaren, which has a hillier and more picturesque landscape. That topography lends itself to cultivating a wider range of grape varieties with very good results. Roy was a terrific guide -- knowledgable and a lot of fun.

We had a wonderful day exploring McLaren Vale. We were the only 2 so very grateful the tour went ahead. Roy and his friendly & funny personality arrived promptly in a very comfortable van. We covered 4 wineries and were very impressed with the tastings at each - the staff were knowledgeable, the wine offerings generous & the accompanying snacks appreciated! We highly recommend this tour!

The reception at the wineries was super. Transport vehicle clean and new. Driver was courteous and friendly.
