We’ve been travelling around South America ( 8 countries ) for the past 6 weeks and this tour was the best by far. Carlos lives and breathes Medellín, he’s one of the locals and knows everyone. His knowledge and enthusiasm is unbelievable! I’m still fascinated by what the city has achieved over the past 15-20 yrs. The transformation from a poor, dirty & dangerous place to a safe, clean & vibrant city is almost overwhelming. I found the infrastructure to all the new transportation options amazing - so orderly and cheap too. The icing on the cake was visiting Comuna 13 - an atmosphere like no other place! Great vibes with music and smiley faces everywhere, you can’t help swinging the hips a little!!
