Luis and his team were AMAZING in every sense of the word!! We (party of six) toured El Peñol, Guatape, Comuna 13, El Poblado, etc. Luis went above and beyond to ensure we understood the relevant history, interesting facts, and significance of each location. From the moment he picked us up at the airport, Luis was extremely knowledgeable, respectful, and spoke clearly in English and Spanish. He was always on time; the vehicles were clean and comfortable; and he recommended (and made pit spots at) traditional locations where we ate and drank delicious Colombian cuisine with the locals. And though we felt very safe in Medellin, it was comforting to have him walk around with us in La Comuna 13 (it appeared La Comuna residents really liked Luis!). I highly recommend booking your tours with Luis if you want to tour the city with a local who is knowledgeable, considerate and willing to go above and beyond to provide an unforgettable experience.

My wife and I have been living in Colombia now for 6 months. Been to several locations in this beautiful country and I can honestly say that my favourite adventure by far has been spending the day with Luis! Not only is Luis very knowledgeable and passionate about his city, he is incredibly friendly and it is obvious that he is respected by his community. It seemed that every corner we took, young kids and residents would come over to give him a high five or a hug welcoming him and us to share their day. So very happy that he took us along on this very personal and rewarding experience learning so much about the people of Medellin, their struggles and successes. Beyond this city tour guide, Luis is the best for EVERYTHING. Seriously, any tour you want to do-- Guatape, Pablo Escobar, Comuna13, cable car, anything and everything in Medellin-- Luis can do it. Anything that you NEED (like random party decorations for your 30th birthday lol), Luis can get it. He is very well connected and friends with everyone in Medellin, extremely knowledge on the city and country's history, and also very funny. I came to Medellin with a group of 6 people to celebrate my 30th birthday, and Luis became like family to our group. We learned and saw so much from him, he definitely made our trip very memorable.
