We were picked up on time in front of our hotel by Joshua in a private car. He safely and efficiently navigated Medellin traffic to the coffee plantation (45 minutes). In near perfect English, he was able to answer questions we had about Medellin. Joshua then waited with the car until we were ready to depart. The tour itself was around 3 hours long. It was divided into two groups, English and Spanish speaking. Mateo, the English speaking guide, was very knowledgeable and funny. We walked the grounds of the plantation learning everything from coffee seed to cup. The tour ended with lunch, and the ability to buy coffee. We had to depart the tour early due to a prior obligation, and Joshua was ready and waiting to take us back to Medellin. This was a perfect excursion if you only have half a day and are interested in coffee.

We had a blast on this tour of a coffee plantation. It was very conveniently located if you don’t have time to cover the countryside which can take a few hours drive. Our guide, Joshua, from Camantours as well as our driver, Johnny, we’re great in picking us up from our hotel and taking us there. We jammed out to Colombian music on the way there and back and they also took us to a local place to eat authentic empanadas and pandequeso afterwards as well. Fabian, the owner of the coffee farm was an energetic, passionate expert who showed us the entire process of growing coffee plants to getting it into a cup to drink. Our kids (teens) loved it as well and had a lot of fun. We paired this tour with an ATV tour in the afternoon which worked out well.

Joshua from Camantours got us to the coffee tour easily and on time. Joshua and Fabian gave us an amazing tour of this local coffee farm. It was a very educational introduction to how coffee is made and they put our kids to work. Highly recommend this tour.
