Family of 4 with 2 kids (ages 5 & 9). We booked the private tour with City Vibes and we’re very happy with the experience. Our tour guide, Danny, was friendly and offered lots of information about the history of the Medellin communities. He was fluent in both English and Spanish. He also very patient with our kids. Danny picked us up in a clean, comfortable sedan and took us to the cable cars and Comuna 13 during a 4-5 hour excursion. It was a fantastic experience. The graffiti art, music, and energy of the neighborhood was incredible! Our kids are still talking about it. By the way, try the grilled corn in Comuna 13…. AMAZING!

Just got back from Medellin, we used Carlos with Cityvibes for our cable car tour and it was awesome! He is fluent in English and is very knowledgeable and nice. He even helped us get a group reservation (10 of us) at a really nice steak house last minute too. If you’re going to Medellin and want a great safe experience and need a local to guide you and make it memorable, use CityVibes. i know i will def call them again next time I’m in town.

We were lucky enough to have the wonderful Fabio as our tour guide, who gave us an evening food tour. He was extremely knowledgeable, and despite being a food tour, he afforded us the unique opportunity to ask questions about a range of topics (culture, politics, education, etc) and learn about Medellín through his lens. The tour also provided a lot of flexibility based on our particular interests, so we felt we received a personalized and curated experience. It was a wonderfully rewarding and authentic experience. We would highly recommend!
