Wenn ich Boteros Kunst sehe, geht mir ein Lied aus dem Kinderbuch Sams durch den Kopf: „Dick, dicker, Dickerchen.“ Eine amüsante Darstellungsweise, die ihresgleichen sucht. Das Museum im Zentrum Medellíns stellt viele Kunstwerke Boteros aus, die Sammlung ist absolut sehenswert. Klar, dass unser kolumbianischer Guide aus Medellín viel über seinen Landsmann und dessen Arbeit berichten konnte. Und die riesigen Skulpturen auf dem Platz vor dem Museum darf man sogar anfassen und erklettern. Mein Mann griff prompt an den dicken Bronzehintern einer Frauenskulptur.
