We will meet the guests at Poblado metro station to go then to San Antonio's square, where was blown up in 1995 one of the sculptures of Botero. Then we will visit Malaga Saloon, one of the oldest bars in the city that keeps the Tango traditions and a lot of pictures from the old Medellín.  We will ride the newest transportation system that we have in the city, Tram and cable car which are designed to approach people living in the hillsides to downtown, where you will see why Medellín was chosen in 2013 as the most innovative city in the world, after that we will walk through the street art in Buenos Aires, before going to the Memory museum, a place full of testimonials from the victims of the armed conflict in Colombia, then we go to the oldest fruit market of the city to try some tropical fruits and Colombian snacks like, buñuelo, empanada and sweet corn cake, after that we continue walking to the San Ignacio’s square where we'll finish the tour.

Admittedly, prior to this tour the only 2 things I connected with Colombia was PabIo Escobar and cocaine. I really enjoyed the Innovation Tour. I did this with a buddy and we had the bonus of 2 tour guides, one of which was in training. Our tour started with an introduction to the artist Botero and his artistic contributions to Medellin. We were also treated to Colombian coffee in a historic café that also gave Tango lessons. While traveling by tram, cable car, and on foot our guides provided us an informative, sobering, and enlightening history of Colombia. I also came away with a better understanding of the violence Medellin suffered through, the impact it had and continues to have on its citizens, and how Medellin has an ongoing transformation into a better city. The guides also did a great job of showing the beauty of the architecture of Medellin’s past, present, and future. They were personable, professional, and I had I great interaction with them. Definitely a tour I would recommend.

Oscar the tour guide who spoke perfect English took me thru the history of Colombia and we walked from one Fernando Botero art piece down town. We than had colombian beer at the historic famous tango bar before we hop on the tram and then to take the cable car ride to see the whole city from above. I learned the transport ation system first hand. Great tour. Highly recommend
