Anna Lisa showed us around the Immigration Museum then we walked to 5 fantastic food experiences. Food was beautiful and was a varied selection of Melbourne dining- laneway food, Chinatown and indigenous food.

We had a lovely time exploring Melbourne with Janet. Food was delicious and we tried things we wouldn’t have discovered on our own . Recommended!

Appreciated starting at the Immigration Museum to set the tone for the culture of Australia & then the natural culture of the food from that history. Janet was an easy & informative guide. My preference would have been to only do one of the Asian restaurants, instead of 2 - VietNam & China. Enjoyed Mabu-Mabu the most with its indigenuous menu. Liked the spice shop - Chinese grocery so-so....rather another food or drink stop. Other suggestion - unless walking right beside Janet, it was very difficult to hear, so I'm afraid we missed alot. Had 6 in the group. Wonder if microphones are not allowed?
