    Anyone who has been to an unfamiliar sports game knows the benefit of having a local explain it to them. Your package includes meeting your host in your hotel lobby and joining the fans as they walk to the stadium. Your host will explain the rules and involve you in the game using competitions and prizes. You will also receive a show bag of Aussie Rules goodies including a souvenir program, footy record and club song sheets plus sink your teeth into footy food, a meat pie and drink (beer or soft drink) at quarter time. Cheer along with fans and absorb the atmosphere and excitement of this unique Australian experience that is AFL. AFL season is played from March to August.

    Was literally the most boring, stagnant and brutish sport I've ever witnessed. I cannot believe that people in this country pay to watch it. The atmosphere in the stadium was awful, with the only group chant was the name of the team followed by 3 claps. Lasted about 2 minutes before people stopped and resumed sitting in silence. I saw a group of people push a pregnant woman over and someone yelling at an Indian security guard and telling him to go back to his own country. At one point I stood up to go to the toilet and got screamed at by the person behind me. It was a truly awful experience all over. Linked up with some soccer fans later on at a pub who took me to a melbourne victory game in Richmond. Was a much better atmosphere, more friendly welcoming people and a nail-biting match that had everyone standing up all game. Everyone was joining in singing and making funny songs. In America we don't do that at our football matches but I wish we did... but the australian game is terrible. Avoid it at all costs.

    The perfect way to spend an evening while learning about a new sport. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly; he was able to answer all my questions and relate it to sports I was familiar with. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who'd like to watch a game for the first time.
