Even though our little island does not exceed 316 square km, it is however rich in history, one of the top countries which have been conquered by different rulers across different centuries. Do you want to see Malta in detail with no rush whatsoever? Split your holiday into sections in which you can focus on different parts of Malta with different histories one day at a time. This tour includes the tour of Malta with a licensed Tour Guide with all the iconic places in the North of Malta. This trip will not include more than 7 people. Included in the Tour is a Private Air-conditioned Minivan which will provide the transportation services for only 7 People, plus a private licensed tour guide with a sound knowledge on the history of Malta. In addition to the above, a bottled water and a traditional Maltese snack will be included, bought fresh from a local shop made from local produce.     The history of Mdina traces back more than 4000 years. According to tradition it was here that in 60 A.D. that the Apostle St. Paul is said to have lived after being shipwrecked on the Islands. Furthermore it is said that St. Paul resided inside the grotto know as Fuori le Mura (outside the city walls) now known as St. Paul's Grotto in Rabat. Lamp lit by night and referred to as "the silent city", Mdina is fascinating to visit for its timeless atmosphere as well as its cultural and religious treasures.

  • Malta National Aquarium, Qawra, Malta
    The Malta National Aquarium project is spread over approximately 20,000 square meters and comprises a public aquarium, a public landscaped belvedere at promenade level, a multi storey car park, facilities for local dive schools, catering facilities including a beach club, a merchandise outlet and a tourist information kiosk. The public aquarium has 41 tanks including reptiles, insects and amphibians, amongst others, Mediterranean fish, including fish commonly found in Maltese waters together with replicas of historical artefacts that one can find in the seas around the Maltese islands. The main tank of the aquarium houses species from the Indian Ocean, including eight black tip sharks, horn sharks, rays, eels and other exotic species. The main tank is approximately 12 meters in diameter and has a walk-through tunnel that allows visitors to experience the fish at a much closer range. All tanks are expertly themed to replicate the underwater environment. Additional features of the public aquarium include a class room facility, interpretation, touch pools, a temporary exhibition space, veterinary and quarantine facilities, etc. The national aquarium is in an iconic curved shell structure in the form of a starfish.

    What you can find at the Crafts Village in Ta' Qali The crafts village in Ta’ Qali is located in the former RAF wartime air-field and is a very popular tourist attraction in Malta. Here, different kinds of crafts and beautiful artefacts are sold created by local experts. You can watch the craftsmen blowing and forming glass, visit the goldsmiths filigree and beautiful jewellery and have a look at the beautiful sculptures and lace.

    A visit to Popeye Village, which was the original film set of the musical production Popeye is surely a must on your what to do list in Malta. This is a great place to take your kids to meet world famous cartoon characters. Popeye village is situated just off Mellieha Bay, so its an excellent place to visit before, after, or whilst spending the day at the numerous beaches and coves around the area or just next door at the enclosed Anchor Bay which is equipped with sun beds, umbrellas, showers, bathing areas, splash pools and a small kids area.

  • Marfa, Marfa, Malta
    Red (St Agatha's) Tower The chess-piece-like Red Tower was built in 1649 for Grand Master Lascaris, as part of the chain of signal towers that linked Valletta and Gozo; the view from its flat roof is stunning. This simple fortress is one of the more elaborate towers, and once housed a garrison of up to 49 men. The plaque above the entrance indicates that this is not a place of sanctuary, despite containing a chapel. It's staffed by volunteers and so is occasionally closed.

    The newest of the nature reserves managed by Birdlife Malta is a haven for gulls and terns and migrating herons and egrets. Very occasionally, flamingos have been known to visit. The reserve is situated on the recently restored Salina Salt Pans built by the Knights of St John in the 16th century.

An excellent overview of Malta with a great guide. Joseph our guide, picked us up in a beautiful and comfortable car and…we were off! Over the next 6 hours we saw and experienced the highlights of Malta. Joseph was very engaging and knowledgeable and helped us make smart choices to optimize the tour…the horse carriage in the Medina is a must. The short boat ride to the Blue Grotto was another great suggestion and add on. My wife and I are regular travelers and appreciate how efficient this tour was. The restaurant Joseph recommended for lunch, Liska, was amazing. The traditional “salted” fish preparation was both flavorful and fun to watch… You can’t go wrong with this trip but the trip is really about Joseph as he is the main conductor, guide and enjoyable host!
