  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

This was a great day in the fall on horseback in the Andes. The day starts with coffee and sopapillas, and Daniel and his crew do a great job. The scenery and views are spectacular, and lunch halfway in the ride is simple but delicious. Chori and beef cooked on a grill, wine, bread, and you can drink the water right out of the glacier-fed stream nearby. This is good for both experienced and novice riders.

It was a brisk winters day when we decided to book the trip. The forecast called for rain in the city of Mendoza but at the altitude of the ranch, that translated into snowfall. Don Daniel and his pack of animals guided us on beautiful ride through running springs, up mountain passes, and through ravines as we found a perfect spot for lunch. After helping Don Daniel collect firewood we warmed our frigid bodies with a roaring fire. We cooked lunch, drank wine, shared stories and laughed all throughout lunch. Then we packed up to take the horses around the side of the mountain. It was one of the most wonderful experiences we’ve ever had. I highly recommend it. Muchas gracias Don Daniel y su familia.

From the organization with Stéphane to the asado on the mountain, the horses, Daniel himself, our guide and even the driver, everything went great and we had a great, relaxing yet engaging day on the mountains. I have to add that the horses are very well kept and my group and I, containing both unexperienced and experienced horse riders all had a blast. Definitely something to recommend.
