The greatest attraction of the eco-tourist paradise of Celestún is the Celestún Biosphere Reserve; Its surface area of 591,139 hectares and its length of 21 km is considered the most beautiful natural space in Yucatán. It is located 95km from Mérida on the Yucatán Peninsula. Among its natural attractions is the Baldiosera spring where you can swim, there is also the Cambay spring which is an eye of fresh water and finally there is Tambor, the roost of the pink Flamingo or called Caribeño or known as Meco. Celestún flamingos are the pinkest due to the concentration of carotene in the water. They are observed in their natural ecosystem aboard boats guided by locals. If you are an adventurer? Getting up close to these beautiful birds was an amazing experience. Our guide, Santiago, was excellent. Next to the dock area lives a colony of raccoons. Having never seen these animals before, this was a bonus. The lunch was 3 courses, delicious and in a scenic beachside restaurant. We recommend this tour.

Nous avons pu entrer dans la mangrove ce qui est clairement extraordinaire. C'est le vrai plus de cette excursion! Les flamants roses sont certes très beaux mais passent pour nous au second plan.

i love this place the weather is very good, the sea the flamingosnlook so beautifull in pink, i went with my family the place is beautifull in addition to the fact that in some surroundings thereare pleasant and beautifull spaces to take photos
