We booked Viator for transport from Hyatt Regency Mérida to the airport for two adults and two small kids (paid for 4 adults). Flight was 4:30pm. Got confirmation of 2:03pm pickup from Barcelona taxi. Day of the trip for a text message from Ofir Tours with 2:03pm pickup. We got to the pickup at 1:40pm and I texted the number to let them know we are there since 2pm pickup for 4:30pm international flight boarding at 3:30pm with airport 30 minutes made me nervous. Pickup time came and went. I started calling Ofir Tours but no answer. I then called Barcelona taxi and menu is all in Spanish. At this point I’m mad because I had to spend $10 to activate ATT international day. I then called Viator internationally from Mexico. God knows how much that’s gonna cost me. In the middle of call with aviator a van pulls up 10 minutes late from yet another entity not previously mentioned. Driver doesn’t speak English but he is our guy. I load the kids into the van in a rush but they have seat belts tied up inaccessible. Driver takes off driving since he is late. My wife tries to free the seat belt and my 5 year old gets hit in the head and starts bleeding. What a nightmare of a company. Save yourself time and effort. Do not book aviator unless you want your pickup to be subdelegated to 3 separate companies with no communication and horrible service.
