Awesome trip, Carlos the guide was amazing very punctual and informative, trip was from Merida took an hotur to get out then an hour in the boat and a swim and lunch in the Gulf of Mexico. highly recommend.

A un poco menos de dos horas en auto desde Mérida está Celestún, una reserva preciosa con una playa con arena y mar inolvidables. Aconsejo el viaje en lancha por la reserva para conocer a los flamencos en su hábitat natural y deleitarse viéndolos volar. El paseo también recorre una pequeña zona de manglares que es bellísima y sugiero estar alerta al ruido de la naturaleza: algún cocodrilo puede verse. Los lancheros suelen mostrar la diversa fauna del lugar. Si bien Celestún es conocido por su reserva y se la puede recorrer en un día, considero que es un excelente lugar para quedarse y un lindo dormir muy cerquita de la playa. Aún está poco explotado turisticamente y eso lo hace más maravilloso.

Die Flamingos sind toll. Auch der Mangrovenwald. Aber bitte nicht zu dem Preis. Für 156,- Euro möchte ich mehr Programm und einen ganztägigen kompetenten Guide haben. Keine Taxifahrt mit einem - zwar netten - aber dennoch unwissendem Begleiter.
