Apart from the Monasteries, the Meteora Food and Wine tour was an absolute highlight of our Greece vacation. We were treated like royals on a personal tour of three experiencing places and food not available to the general holiday maker. A unique experience and definitely worth it, even at double the price.

On our recent visit with friends to Meteora we reserved both the Sunset Tour as well as a private food & wine tasting. We thoroughly enjoyed both tours, which were undertaken at a good pace allowing you time to take in the information, we were also impressed by the comfortable & particularly plush vehicles provided & our respective guides Vangelis & George together with their drivers were excellent, extremely professional & very knowledgeable, we would highly recommend Visit Meteora & will most certainly use them again ourselves. We are fortunate to have visited Meteora several times over the past 18 years but on this occasion we found that taking a well run tour only enhanced that experience. Our advice would be not to use Meteora as a day trip excursion or one night stop over but ideally spend a minimum of 3 nights here & give this wonderful place the time it deserves.
