  • Due to the current and worldwide status of the recent COVID-19, the monastic community and, thus, the Monasteries of the Meteora region will stop the provision of skirts and shawls to the visitors. Therefore, all visitors are required to be dressed accordingly: Men are prohibited to wear any sleeveless shirt, andshorts above the knee; Ladies are prohibited to wear any skirts above the knee. All previous clothing will deny any visitor’s entry to the monasteries.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

An excellent hike to the monastery with beautiful views. Our guide calibrated it well for the whole family, including young children, and provided lots of interesting details along the way. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience! We had two 10-years old children with us that were excited!! We loved walking! Our guide, Dimitris, had so many information to give us about history, monasteries, plants and animals and he was also friendly with the kids. We saw things and monasteries that you cannot see while doing the car tour. We walked a lot and visited one monastery from the inside. Mr. Stathis was so kind and helpful while talking on the phone that he was the main reason I booked that tour. Since we were just us, he was also flexible with the time. And the price so good. I strongly recommend that and I would do it again.
