All was excellent ! The guide/driver picked us up at our hotel and during the short ride explained a lot about the region, the history of the hermites, the monks, the formation of the Meteora. We visited 3 monasteries : in the first monastery we had another dedicated English speaking guide. This visit took about an hour. The guide/driver drove us to the 2 other monasteries. Based on the good explanations in the first monastery, we could by ourselves visit, understand and enjoy these 2 monasteries. We really see a lot of value in the guided tour and recommend it !
