    After your pickup in the morning, around 09:00 am from your hotel in Kalabaka or Kastraki enjoy a comprehensive Meteora tour for about 6 hrs, seeing all the area of Meteora. Enjoy the visit to the Holy Monasteries You will be transported with comfort and safety, by our brand new, luxurious, minibus or car, towards the cliff-top monasteries. Our English-speaking tour leader will be with you to give you all the information you need about the area, share with you a vast amount of knowledge, and help you to visualize why and how the first monks managed to establish one of the biggest monastic communities in Greece on top of these unique rocks. Enjoy the best viewpoints and with short walks, he will explain to you all the geological phenomena that had to occur so these impressive rocks could form.

The private tour was an excellent way to capture the full Meteora experience. Antonio, as a local, was so informative and supportive of the history, the monasteries and the monks and nuns who have dedicated their lives to their faith. He was an extremely safe and talented driver and allowed us to select the monasteries to tour and the spots often missed by shorter tours. I would strongly recommend this tour company and Antonio!

Wow so glad we booked this tour, it covered everything in 6 hours in great detail, meaning that we were able to make the most of Meteora in 1 day! The knowledge and passion our guide Antonis for the area was amazing, a self guided tour would have taken much longer with many missed gems of information, so definitely choose this tour over a self guided drive. Antonio was such a lovely friendly kind man who was wonderful with our kids and very patient. He really couldn't do enough for us and went out of his way to tailor the tour to our needs and to make sure we were happy and comfortable at all times. Thank you Antonis and Meteora Thrones Tours !

If you are in Meteora for the first time and if you can afford it - this is definitely the best tour. Antonis made sure to cater for everyone's interests and physical abilituy, which in our case (I was with my 13 year old daughter and my over-75 mother). If I come there for the 2nd time I will now few lifehacks by myself already (how to access some monasteries by going down the hill, not climbing, for exammple), which offer more mystical atmosphere and which can be looked at simply from outside to avoid touristical crowds. Excellent guide, amazing tour.
