Our private tour was with 3 couples. The monasteries were incredible. A must see if traveling to Greece. Our guide and driver were wonderful. Because one of the monastery’s was so crowded, our guide asked if we would like to see a hermitage, instead of waiting in a very long line at the monastery. We agreed, and it was worth seeing. We all had a great time.

Wir hatten die Tour gebucht, obwohl wir mit dem Mietwagen unterwegs waren. Das war eine sehr gute Entscheidung, da an einem solch außergewöhnlich beeindruckenden Ort recht viel los ist und die Parkplätze knapp sind. Wir hatten eine sehr fundierte Führung über die Geschichte der Klöster und auch die geographischen Besonderheiten erhalten, wurden pünktlich am Hotel abgeholt und wieder zurückgebracht.

We had a fantastic private 1/2 day tour. Our guide, Jim, was amazing and we highly recommend you request him as your guide. His energy was as boundless as his knowledge of the monasteries. As an added benefit he could also explain all of the native plants and then pivot to discussions on the Greek economy. A fantastic tour in a very nice, clean, air conditioned SUV. If you come to Meteora, we highly recommend a 1/2 day tour with Jim.
