An Art day trip to the most famous Mexican Artists Museums. Located in Coyoacan (an old colonial town which is now incorporated into Mexico City) is the famed Blue House, built by Frida Kahlo's father and her home for most of her life. Close by is Leon Trotsky's house, now a museum too. We will also visit Anahuacalli, a museum that Diego Rivera built with an Aztec-inspired design, for his collection of pre-Hispanic ceramic pieces, strongly supported by Frida.     We specifically included a leg of our trip to stop in CDMX because my wife has wanted to see the Frida Kahlo museum for a very long time. We booked months in advance. On date of the tour, tour guide just never showed up. After several attempts to call the tour company we finally got in touch and they said the guide has sent an email that they needed to reschedule. Never happened, they are liars. The kahlo museum sells out weeks in advance so we were unable to go. Terrible. Ruined our vacation

    The Frida and Diego experience is wonderful! Our guide Gabriel opened up the world of murals and their history in Mexico City.

    Fantastic guide! Lots of information about the artists. We also saw other parts of the city and mosaics done by Diego. The guide was able not able to go in with us to the Frida house but provided information before and after the visit. Not sure if it was a Covid policy or a policy from the museum.
