Learn to cook a traditional Mexican meal in the kitchen of a private home located in the Coyoacan neighborhood of Mexico City. This 3-hour lesson and homemade meal includes a personalized introduction to Mexican cuisine by your host whose culinary know-how was passed down by their father and grandmother. Savor the dishes you made for lunch or dinner along with your local host. Alda was very well prepared and good company. The house is nice. We spent very nice evening there. We cooked chilaquiles and enchiladas. All was delicious.

Four of us (my, my wife, our 5 year old daughter and our friend) had a fantastic evening with Ismael and his brother, Daniel. The food was delicious, my daughter got to help lots with the prep and we learned some of the secrets to making authentic tacos al pastor. Overall a super fun night and great introduction to Mexico!

We were introduced to some new and interesting and yummy! local foods in our class with Alda. The cooking techniques, however, were basic and familiar to all of us.Given the simplicity of the cooking techniques, we felt the class was overpriced, especially considering the general cost of everything else in Mexico City. Alda was knowledgeable and charming, the house was beautiful, and the final meal was delicious.
