Your adventure begins in Tlatelolco, with a brief introduction to the three main periods of Mexican history. Afterwards, you will explore Teotihuacan, “the place where the gods were born.” At the end, you will have lunch at a local restaurant in the area to eat a typical Mexican meal. For 45 minutes and on the way back to Mexico City, you will visit the most visited religious sanctuary in Mexico, the Basilica of Guadalupe, where religious devotion produces a phenomenon that will create a religious syncretism.

Madero of Mexico City. It belongs to the First Archdiocese of Mexico through the Guadalupana Vicariate that since November 4, 2018 is under the care of Salvador Martínez Ávila who holds the title of General and Episcopal Vicar of Guadalupe and rector of the Sanctuary.1

We have just finished a truly fantastic day out on the tour led by Veronica (our guide) and Arturo (our driver). Lovely people and Veronica was extremely knowledgeable, we learned lots at our own pace and we could see how much she enjoyed sharing information about Mexican culture from ancient times through to the modern day. We highly recommend this tour and our guides! Personally we would avoid the lunch stop if booking again though.

Best tour I booked. Veronica and Tony were very pleasant. Wasn't sure what to expect but we were so happy with tour. From the start Veronica was very informative on the history of our different stops. She was so friendly and felt like we made a new friend. We were not rushed and she adjusted to our pace and what we were interested in. I recommend spending the extra money on a private tour verses a group tour. You won't be disappointed. I didn’t like that they took us to a terrible restaurant and tourist tray gift shop. The food was not good
