Your adventure begins in Tlatelolco, with a brief introduction to the three main periods of Mexican history. Afterwards, you will explore Teotihuacan, “the place where the gods were born.” At the end, you will have lunch at a local restaurant in the area to eat a typical Mexican meal. For 45 minutes and on the way back to Mexico City, you will visit the most visited religious sanctuary in Mexico, the Basilica of Guadalupe, where religious devotion produces a phenomenon that will create a religious syncretism.

We had a great day visiting Teotihuacan and Guadalupe Shrine with our guide Ramón. He is very knowledgeable and we felt like he brought our whole trip to Mexico (Oaxaca and Mexico City) together with the historical information he shared. He was very accommodating in our request to go to Teotihuacan first to beat the heat and the crowds. I highly recommend this trip.

We had such a fantastic day! Sergio, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and entertaining. We learned a lot about Mexico City and about the people that lived here in ancient times and how it became the city that it is today. I would highly recommend this tour!
