A fantastic day tour to discover probably the two more iconic and representative places in the Mexican culture: the amazing and sacred Shrine of the national Virgin of Guadalupe (the second most visited religious catholic sanctuary of the world) and the incredible Aztecs Temples and Pyramids of Teotihuacan surrounded by a mythical ancestral Aztec city. The tour began with the visit of the Plaza de las Tres Culturas and the “Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe” built in the 16th Century and visited for millions. Next, we will head to the ancient and world famous archaeological site of Teotihuacan (“The City of the Gods”) where we will see and climb the breathtaking Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, the Butterflies Temple, and the Avenue of the Dead. This is an excursion that will take you a step back in time that you will never forget.

We pick up travellers in most hotels in Down Town Area. If your hotel is outside downtown radio, we will contact you to assign the closest meeting point for your convenience.

    We will start the tour by head to the ancient and world famous archaeological site of Teotihuacan (which means “The City of the Gods”) where we will see and climb the breathtaking Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, the Butterflies Temple, and the Avenue of the Dead one of the many wide avenues that project out towards the cardinal points of the universe.

    We will continue the tour by visiting the Tres Culturas Plaza and the amazing and sacred Shrine of the national Virgin of Guadalupe (the second most visited religious catholic sanctuary of the world) built in the 16th Century and visited for millions of Catholics around the world.

  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

The pyramids and the Basilica are great to visit…we were under the impression this was a small group with English guide. The group was 30+ and predominately Spanish speaking. My family was the only English speaking. The guide seemed rushed to give a mediocre discussion in English. The private morning transportation from hotel to area where the tours split was fine. But the big bus was the only transportation back and made stops at every hotel on the tour. We asked to be dropped off to Uber as the trip to Polanco would have been 2 + hours. Rather than following the itinerary we went to pyramids first. We arrived to Basilica too late to enter many of the chapels. Needless to say logistics was poorly thought out.

Mayra was the best guide. Very caring and made sure we saw everything- provided many historic information and tips.
