David is an archaeologist with expertise on Teotihuacan. It was one of the most enjoyable and informative tours of my life. His deep academic knowledge and warm personality are a wonderful match..

David was an incredible guide-he was funny, informative, and we appreciated his enthusiasm and candor about all things Teotihuacan. Touring with him/an archeologist made the visit exponentially better. When we booked the tour Jorge arranged transportation for us from Mexico City and we highly recommend going that route if it’s in your budget. Our driver Carlos shared history of CDMX with us during the drive and we enjoyed chatting with him, as well. We toured in early April, from 8:30a-1pm and it was in the high 80s and we were in the sun 90% of the time so be sure to bring lots of sunscreen, hats and water.

CDMX- Mexico City has a deep history and the Pyramids of Teotihuacan, about 50 minutes from the city, are a big part of understanding Mexican history and how CDMX became one of the largest and most interesting cities in the world. Our tour guide, Nephtali, who is an anthropologist, was a wonderful guide through the pyramids and museum. She met us a door 3 and we finished at door 1, which is definitely the way you should visit the site. She spend over 6 hours with our group of 3 people and kept the time flying by with her insightful stories and observations about the site, history and people that created the pyramids. One of the things we enjoyed most about Nephtali is that she worked hard to help us make connections between what we were seeing and the people that lived in the Teotihuacan site. We highly recommend her to anyone visiting the site! remember to wear a hat, apply sunscreen and bring water!
