As expats who llve in a different part of Mexico, we wanted to see the allure of Lake Chapala and Ajijic. The tour guide spoke English; however, he did not seem as passionate to share the history and culture of Mexico as the guides we had from other tour companies in Guadalajara. He basically drive us up and let us out to walk aroumd the plazas and malecons on our own. This tour was very expensive for an Uber driver experience.
We always double-check the availability with our local partners for each booking. Even though this is usually a swift process, it can take up to 24 hours.
