***CRUISE PASSENGERS PLEASE BE ADVISED: There is only ONE main road that connects mainland South Florida to The Florida Keys and Key West. This one road is 125 miles long and includes 42 bridges that connect 43 islands. Traffic is often unpredictable and the road is often blocked due to accidents. Because of this, we highly recommend that you do NOT book this tour/excursion if you are in port just for the day and need to get back to your cruise ship later the same day. ***We CANNOT guarantee that you will make your embarkation time.***

This is a GREAT excursion for those wishing to add time to the front or back end of their cruise, or if you're simply spending a few days in South Florida and want to go all the way to the end!

Travel is by minivan, and tour length is 11 hours from pick up time, until the time you are returned. For example, if you are picked up from your hotel at 8am, you will be dropped back off at your hotel by 7pm.

We will pick you up at any location within the Miami and Fort Lauderdale area, including ports of call, airports, and hotels. Your return location does NOT need to be the same as your pickup location. Meaning, for example, we can pick you up from Port Everglades, and return you to Miami International Airport. Or pick you up from Miami airport and return you to the Port of Miami.

***CHILDREN UNDER 6 ARE REQUIRED BY FLORIDA STATE LAW TO BE RESTRAINED IN A PROPER CAR SEAT FOR THEIR SIZE. WE DO NOT PROVIDE CAR SEATS. PLEASE ENSURE YOU BRING ONE FOR ANY CHILD UNDER 6.***

    "While Key West remained a Union-controlled island during the Civil War, the majority of Key West citizens supported the Confederacy. With such a rift, it is perhaps surprising that no battles took place on or around the island. Having no use for the Fort once the war was drawing to a close, Fort East Martello was abandoned in its unfinished state by the Army. In 1950, the Key West Art & Historical Society, with its own army of volunteers, cleared away years of debris and dust to open Fort East Martello as its first museum. With continued community support, the Society restored this national landmark in accordance with its original 1860s design. Today, visitors can explore the preserved battlement’s collection of relics from the Civil War, learn about the wrecking and cigar-manufacturing industries which shaped the Florida Keys, view the imaginative metal sculptures of Stanley Papio, as well as meet the Ghosts of East Martello, including the infamous Robert the Doll."
