This section is great for beginners or the experienced rafter with over 20 continuous class III & IV rapids. With plenty of places to surf and play, you’ll see why thousands of folks return year after year to raft this classic 5-mile run. Starting just below the Ocoee Dam No. 2, you’ll encounter your first big rapid, Grumpy’s, then its on to Broken Nose, Roller Coaster, Table Saw, Hell’s Hole and many more. Top that all off with a great place to swim about half way down and you’ll certainly become “one” with the river. Our wonderful river guides will help make your adventure one to remember.

We've been white-water rafting once before. This was an exciting, fun experience. Way better than our Costa Rica experience even!The rapids are rated a 3. Sydney, our guide, was very knowledgeable, fun and related to each of us individually. She did a great job!! Would definitely recommend!!

We had an excellent adventure down the Ocoee with the best guide! Hunter, our guide, was confident, in control of the raft, had great commentary and was generally a lot of fun! You want a confident experienced guide, who is informative and has a sense of humor! Hunter was the best! All in all we would definitely recommend Cherokee Rafting! 10/10 experience! Ask for Hunter!

Absolutely amazing Aaron is a great guide. We are going back to do the full river next spring. From showing up to getting back everything was ran smoothly and professionally but also a fun time.
