An excellent, relaxed, informative introduction to Durham. Our guide Peter was a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, affable chap with an obvious love for the town. Starting at the market place finishing at the Cathedral it was a 90 + minutes educational and fun guide at a relaxed pace. The man even recommended places to eat, pubs to drink in and, even, lent me his umbrella leaving himself open to the elements. As the kids say Legend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our history tour with Peter. The tour took us to beautiful places we’d never have discovered without the tour. We learned about the history of the city and surrounding area. All put across in an easy manner. He also advised on where to eat out.
I’d recommend this tour to everyone visiting Durham as it’s a lovely relaxing way to appreciate the sights in Peter’s company. Made our trip to Durham.
