    You can enjoy an amazing view of Milan by yourself from these incredible rooftops, surrounded by hundreds of statues. You will explore this area by yourself. (if you have choosen the rooftops option). No skip the line access for this area. The elevator has a maximum capacity of 7 persons, so you might have to wait few minutes before heading up to the roof (the lift is always guaranteed, however). Kindly consider that after the elevator, there are around 50 stairs in order to reach the top of the Cathedral, and back down at the end of the tour.

The tour itself was very good, the Duomo is amazing as well as the rooftops and terraces. The guide was great as well, very helpful and knowledgeable. The bad? The logistics. I booked this and the instructions were to meet a representative from Citywalkers at a specific location at 4:30 and they would have a yellow umbrella. Easy right? No, I showed up at 4:15 and wandered around for 15 mins looking for this yellow umbrella. Nothing. Finally asked another few guides before I finally just happened upon a rep who ask me my name. Said I was ten mins late. I was like, here are the instructions I was given. No yellow umbrella, tour started at 4:20. I think Citywalkers pawned my tour onto this other provider which was the disconnect. in short, terrible start and communication but everything else was well done.

I would only recommend the stairs option (which doesn't allow access to the lift) if you're physically fit because the stairs are steep and there isn't much room in case you need to stop. Pre-booking a ticket is a must, there's a very short queue for people who pre-book. At the top of the stairs, you can walk along the lower rooftop and and then along the rooftop at the top. The views are great and there are some good opportunities for photos at the top. Would recommend the ticket that allows access to the Duomo itself, the archeological site and the museum too.
