    Villa Olmo is certainly the most impressive of the villas on Lake Como. It consists of a vast complex which, in addition to a large park, includes several buildings. The villa is a fine example of imposing neoclassical architecture. Begun at the end of the 18th century and completed in 1812 by the Odescalchi Marquises, it passed to the Raimondi family, then to the Visconti di Modrone family and in 1925 to the Municipality which used it as a venue for cultural events and art exhibitions.

What a beautiful day visiting some of the most picturesque spots in the Lake Como area. Our driver Fabrizzio was excellent. As always, they tailor the tour to your likes. Private and exclusive. The private car was an excellent way to see the area, and to get dropped off and picked up when you are ready.
