Learn why the Duke of Milan, Ludovico il Moro, commissioned Leonardo and how he presided over the most important period in the Milanese Renaissance. Then, go straight to the front of the lines to see Da Vinci’s “Last Supper” and spend at least 15 minutes appreciating one of the most iconic images of Christ in the world.

This was the perfect way to see The Last Supper. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and witty, and we gained so much knowledge as we saw the incredible artwork.

I was able to book this tour the day before which was very convenient since the ticket office was sold out for at least two weeks. The tour itself was very short and sweet. We met in front of the museum to collect our headsets and then off to the ticket office next door to retrieve the tickets. Once inside the actual museum you only get 15 minutes inside the rectory with the Last Supper. Our guide did a good job of explaining the artist’s perspective as well as the history of the church it is housed in. After 15 minutes is up, the docents hurry you out of the rectory to make room for the next group. All in all this tour lasted about 45 minutes, which was perfect for us.

Knowledgeable guide. Easy purchase and redemption process. If possible participate during daylight as you don’t get to see the cloisters at night. Highly recommended.
