Your guide will give a quick introduction to Renaissance art in Italy, describing how it became one of the most fertile periods of painting worldwide. Learn why the Duke of Milan, Ludovico il Moro, commissioned Leonardo and how he presided over the most important period in the Milanese Renaissance. Then, go straight to the front of the lines to see Da Vinci’s “Last Supper” and spend at least 15 minutes appreciating one of the most iconic images of Christ in the world.

The experience of seeing such a moving and historical painting was everything I wanted it to be. A little more clear signage to indicate what group is which would be helpful, for example a larger sign.

The guide was excellent and so knowledgeable. English very clear as well. So glad Viator offered this chance or we would have missed out this one in a lifetime experience. Everyone in family enjoyed this tour.

Re Il Cenacolo Cenciano: Stefania our guide was very clear with her explanations and handled the sensitive questions around Judas’ darkness very well. However, we’d recommend a bit more clarity around who is the Viator guide and who are the audio gear invigilators. It’s all a bit of a mess out there in the piazza. Luckily it wasn’t cold and wet.
