This walking food tour is designed to experience some of the best food and wine in Milan, while discovering the two souls of this city: on the one side the old and traditional; and on the other the innovative, bustling and experimental. You will taste dishes coming from centuries-long traditions, such as the renowned Risotto alla Milanese; you will hear about the production of the famous Franciacorta wine while sipping it; but you will also explore hidden venues, gems known only to locals for the quality of their dishes. The best local specialities are paired with great wines. This is a journey between future and past, an incredibly tasty discovery of Milanese food walking through the most interesting boroughs of Milan. The tour includes four food stops. First stop: wine and appetizers. Second stop: Risotto alla Milanese and pasta. Third stop: meat and cheese bites at the local market (only when open) or in alternative, cold cuts and cheese in a local restaurant. Last stop is dessert.

We had a lovely evening with plenty of food, drink and history with our guide, Alice. She was great!! We got out of city center into a more local scene, saw the canals of Milan at sunset and met people from all over the world. It was a highlight of our trip for sure-highly recommend!

La visite gastronomique incluant apéritifs, vins, plat et dessert nous a enchanté et nous a fait découvrir les saveurs locales. Les restaurants choisis pour les différentes étapes étaitent d’excellente qualité et nous avons pris beaucoup de plaisir à suivre la guide dans les rues de Milan. Merci

The food tour was great! We stopped by multiple places with great offerings. Our guide, Maria Christina was awesome and friendly! We ran late because we got lost, but she waited for us, and was very pleasant, despite waiting on us. I would say we sometimes preferred this tour over other places we has a sit-down dinner at. Definitely recommending this to others visiting Milan.
