    Next you will get to see the wonderful Queenstown Golf Course which sits right on the Kelvin Heights Peninsula overlooking the delightful Lake Wakatipu. There shores are a common place for the locals to go boating and swimming. You will then proceed down the 90% calm waters perusing the million dollar homes along the shoreline.

    As you sail past willow islands and see local birdlife we make our way right down to the historic Kawarau Falls Dam which marks the start of the famous Kawarau River.

We had Troy as our Skipper for the cruise. He had a great commentary, interesting facts, and was quite humorous as well. Cruise duration is spot on and great value for money.

Amazing experience not to be missed. Captain Troy was very knowledgeable and gave us a great commentary along the way. The boat stops a couple of times for photos of the beautiful remarkables. The cruise passes some of the beautiful homes on the lake. Lots of wildlife to be seen and trout feeding. This cruise is very good value and very enjoyable.

Decided to take this cruise to fill in a gap in our plans. The guide, Troy, was fantastic. Great views, fantastic narration, Awesome photo opportunities. I did this trip in 2019 and its still an amazing trip. I would recommend this cruise to anyone visiting Queenstown New Zealand.
