An early start, and due to the steady overnight rain we were a bit ambivalent about that the experience would hold.
A slight drizzle as we set off, and by the time we got to the viewing platform, it was overcast but dry.
Marcelo had binoculars for everyone, so we didn't have ti share, which certainly added to the experience.
There were hummingbirds aplenty, but the "main attractions" were a little slow off the mark - due to the damp weather.
However, once the tanagers and toucans came into play, it was amazing!! We saw soo many!
After about 90 minutes at the platform (including coffee and rolls) we went for a walk, and Marcelo was able to show us a quetzal and a cock-of-the-rock.
Also saw an agouti and a tayra near the platform.
All in all, an awesome morning!
