You will join a festive experience with local musicians playing while you pitch in to make Ecuadorian drinking chocolate by hand. Participants will have a chance to help roast, shell, grind and make the chocolate beverage that Ecuadorians drank thousands of years ago all to the beat of a local musician.

We loved this. Our guide, Angel, was terrific. I loved hearing about the importance of the ceremony. The music was excellent. We loved that we participated in making the chocolate drink. It was so fun.

Leuke chocolade proeverij, interessante rondleiding. Kost 10 dollar pp. Aan het einde mag je zoveel chocolade eten als je maar wil:)

On an open fire, it’s your turn to make chocolate cocoa from scratch like they did hundreds of years ago. It tastes so much better when you take the time to roast the cocoa beans, strip the shell, crush it into a paste, and then mix in a hot pot
