The original St. Paul Gangster Tour (2 hours by Bus in comfort) reveals why Saint Paul was a center for bootlegging operations and criminal activities during the 1930s prohibition era. The tour guide is informative and humorous. This is the only tour that starts at the historic Castle Royal Gangsters nightclub, preserved today as The Wabasha Street Caves. Please note that this tour does not include the Historic Cave Tour. Great tour if you want your ears to bleed. Our tour guide was Babyface. Constant loud, fast talking for 2 hours and 15 minutes straight. It was as if a trumpet was blasting in our ears without any breaks. Knowledgeable guide, but we all got headaches. Literally the guy didn’t pause. This was grueling. The bus would stop outside of buildings and just sit there while our eardrums were damaged. I recommend you just google some St. Paul gangster facts and drive around on your own. We felt like we were kidnapped and tortured with constant loud rambling.

This was our first experience taking a motor coach tour. We will definitely be back for more. Our time was both entertaining and really informative! One doesn't realize how much history we have in our area!
