The temple along the hiking road is the oldest ascetic Buddhism temple in Japan as it was an ideal training place to seek self and to be enlightened. The area is a very popular hiking spot for Osaka citizens. Let's enjoy the Minoh Quasi National Park, an Oasis very close to the city.

    Legend says that two high ranked Chinese visitors came to see the area hearing its good reputation. However, they turned back when they came across two gigantic rocks that were on their way and gave up to go any further. This shows how deep in the mountain people though of this area in old days. But don't worry roads are paved now and the slopes are generally gentle.

The experience was excellent! Mr Ichiro was a friendly guide and love walking through the park with him. Highly recommend those who wish to Minoh Park to engage him as your guide. I love my walk there.

Mr Ichiro was a wonderful guide during my walk at Minoh Park. He was more like a fellow friend who came to the park together with me. We had a great time chatting and walking through nature. Thank you for the wonderful experience and I would highly recommend anyone to do the Minoh Tour with Mr Ichiro.

We went at 4 PM and nobody was there! Wait for the tour buses to leave and it’s all to yourself. It’s beautiful and the hike is easy. One of my favorite things we did in Osaka. Pair it with the noodle company to make your own ramen and swim in the onsens at the resort at the top of the hill!
