I expected coming to Monkeyland to see monkeys in a zoo type of environment albeit a very large enclosure. This was much better. The monkey sanctuary is in an area of multiple acres. After you pay you are taken by a guide through the enclosure which is so large you really feel you are in the monkey’s native environment. The monkeys are everywhere so you will be presented with many photo opportunities. Because the enclosure encompasses a ravine, a suspension bridge has been built that during your 1 hour guided tour you will walk over so you are above the trees and can get a Birds Eye view of monkeys. When the guide finished with us I felt I had been on a safari. A visit here would be a joy for children. If you come, make sure you visit the bird sanctuary next door which is also top-notch. When you buy tickets for either attraction they will ask you if you are doing only the one attraction or both.
