Beautiful architecture, antique furniture and art, the aesthetics of these establishments are magnificent and captured in time. Das was our guide for our visit to two [rather than three, despite the title of the tour] of Jamaica’s ‘Great Houses’. The two properties provided complementary insights into the history of the island, and its international connections. At each place, a house guide took us around the property, providing a well-scripted intro and explanations. Das provided extensive (and easily audible - not all guides are!) insights into the places we drove through, and lots else about Jamaica. And he too is to enjoy a coconut (plus its ‘jelly’) and beef patty after the tour. An excellent half-day trip!
