I’ve been on multiple tours of Montmartre over the years and Jill’s was by far the best. She is deeply entrenched and passionate about this part of Paris and it shows. She can walk and talk you thru the typical sites (terrific) or she can take you to a fabulous cafe for a quick espresso to fuel you for an alleyway tour of local street art and Van Gogh tales (even better). All the while she is engaging and reacting to the people on the tour to fit their interests instead of following a script. Do a self-guided Rick Steves tour to see the typical Montmartre highlights on your own and then do Jill’s tour to get a real feel for how the historic and present occupants live, love, creat and make this neighborhood one of the most special in Paris. It’s exactly what an immersive tour should do and she’s perfected it. Merci Jill. I look forward to many more tours with you.

An exceptional small group experience guided by a local resident with extensive knowledge of the area and it’s history. While the tour highlighted the most well known landmarks, it was customized based on her frequent interaction with the group. The hours walking through the area were spent in conversation about the information provided. It was a walk with a friend proud of her home not a lecture by a historian.

The tour was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Jill was a terrific guide who obviously loves the community where she lives. We saw and heard about so many aspects of Montmartre that are not in the guidebooks. But we also got all the basic history and stories as well. I recommend this tour highly. One will not find a better one.
