  • The itinerary and details may be adjusted in response to unexpected changes such as DMZ military schedules, traffic, or weather conditions.
  • No changes or refunds will be given for those who fail to arrive on time for departure, regardless of the reason.
  • DMZ is military area and can be closed suddenly without any notice. If it happens, alternative tour will be provided and no refunds.
  • Visiting the 3rd Tunnel is not recommended for those with heart conditions or other serious medical issues due to its physically demanding nature.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

When we got on the bus we waited around for people who were late and then went to another hotel, to pick up individuals who were also late. This pick up was not advised and due to this logistical error, a lot of time was wasted and we felt rushed at dmz locations. The dmz locations themselves were incredible and would definitely recommend going, however the time at each location was shorter than advised so felt rushed. We also stopped at additional stops of unification village, which was okay and a ginseng office tour. Both of these were not advised as part of the tour. Regarding the ginseng tour, we felt that there heavy emphasis on the benefits of ginseng and encouragement to buy it, as at the end of the tour we were shut in a sales room with several sales people, encouraging us to buy some. We did not feel comfortable.

Our guide was very experienced and his English was excellent. He provided a lot of history and context to the tour. We would have given a five star if we didn’t have to endure the ginseng shopping stop where all members are corralled into a shopping room.

We hadden een goede gids, SP Hong. Heel boeiend en interessant, soms spijtig dat er niet voldoende tijd is om alle uitleg te lezen in de tentoonstellingen. Lunch was maar 20 min tijd, persoonlijk voor mij wat te kort om buffet te gaan eten. Op tripadvisor staat dat tour 8-10 uur duurt, maar heeft ongeveer 7 uren geduurd inclusief de ginseng museum/shopping wat niet vermeld stond op tripadvisor.
