This experience was truly incredible. Although the drive to and from the desert can be taxing, we enjoyed the multiple stops along the way. Our driver, Simo, was extremely friendly, stopping whenever someone in the van requested a break and always doing so with a smile. One thing to note: you'll stop A LOT on your way to the desert. There are several opportunities to explore villages, check out sites, and just stretch your legs. During this, and you will try also the camel trip to see the sunrise and the sunset inside the oasis

I had 4 days/3 nights trip from Fez to Marrakesh. I can only recommend spend more than 1 night in the desert. the camp is amazing, you will enjoy the desert being basically alone because all people stay only 1 night. long travel time to/from desert but with several stops to enjoy some sightseeing. I travelled with 3 kids age 6 and 10. do not hesitate to book, it was a life long memory for all of us

We joined the standard tent 2 day desert tour - picked up from Fez and dropped back in Marrakech. It was meant to be a 17 people group tour by Fez Desert Tour booked through Trip Advisor (Viator) and we got lucky that there were only the two of us on the outward journey. The driver Hassan was excellent. Together with his rider, Hamid, we have learnt a fair bit about the few places where we stopped as well as some Berber culture. The desert, camel ride, watching both sun rise and sun set over sand dunes were unforgettable. The tent / accommodation was indeed very comfortable and spacious. We also enjoyed the Berber dinner, music, bonfire and Berber breakfast. The return journey was much tougher, although the driver was also very good. We were in a group van which only has intermittent air conditioning and not all windows have curtains to screen off the strong sun. There were no interesting stops on the route apart for coffee and lunch. The latter was at a very typical road side eatery with pricey yet standard menus for mass tours. Fellow travellers suggested that perhaps a 3 day tour would be better if one can afford the time, so that the return journey would be more interesting. Alternatively, there are also domestic flights to Errachidia to consider.

Lo que ves es lo que recibes por parte de los operadores , el lugar es majestuoso y las tiendas en perfectas condiciones ( duchas, camas, aire acondicionado , equipamiento etc) los paseos en camello, y otras actividades también en orden y un personal que te atiende con una sonrisa. Hay que mejorar el tema de los traslados a la locación nada más Lo volveré a hacer!
