Best of Tangier, 2 days tour to Chefchaouen & Tetouan

This was a private tour for our group of 6 friends. Our driver Aissa picked us up at our hotel and drove us to Chefchaouen with one scenic stop. We met a local guide there who took us around the city for a couple of hours. Timing could have been better as this went right through when we would typically have lunch so have a protein bar handy. Afterwards we checked into our Riad and to our pleasant surprise, the 6 of us were assigned 6 rooms so no room sharing as we had assumed. We did explain that we were all singles (no couples) and would require two beds in a room if we were to share. The Riad was beautiful with a rooftop terrace where they served breakfast which was included. Dinner on the first night was also included in another Riad/restaurant. Our 2nd day return included a stop in Tetuoan as well as a scenic stop. Again the timing wasn't great since we left the blue city at 11am and was ready for lunch upon arrival rather than meet with the local guide. So perhaps have a late breakfast before leaving. Since this was a private tour, we discussed with Aissa what he recommended seeing in Tangier and he took us to Cape Spartel to enjoy the gorgeous view. As the tour is private, feel free to discuss what you might want to change in regards to the schedule so that it suits you completely. We thoroughly enjoyed having all the extra time in Chefchaouen that we would not have had on a day tour.

Great history knowledge from ischa. He took us on a great tour utilising very friendly and knowledgeable guides. The hotel at Chefeoune was amazing. It was such a delight getting transported in a luxurious air conditioned limousine. We would definitely recommend this business to any one without question.

Our driver Ilias went above and beyond to make our trip one of the best ever. Not only was he a wonderful driver but provided a connection to understanding the people of Morocco. His Mercedes van was meticulous and he provided water with every drive. Ilia’s was very flexible and relaxed about stopping anytime we wanted to take photos. We are already interested in returning to Morocco and having Ilias as our driver. An additional plus was his excellent English.
